Body Hack is a fundraising event for Black & Brown trans/queer individuals and organizations dedicated to uplifting us, this month specifically El Museo de Arte Trasnfemenino. located in the Doctores neighborhood of CDMX, El Museo de Arte Trasnfemenino is a storefront space that exists to exhibit and archive art by trans women, as well as provide space for the city’s trans community to gather, with a particular emphasis on sex workers and others living on the margins. in a city that has no dedicated LGBT Center, a space like this is very rare, and valuable for everyone who can access it—particularly trans-femme artists who are largely shut out of other spaces to show and sell their work.
