Girls Don’t Sync are the latest artists in our How I DJ series, breaking down the tricks and techniques behind their signature style and sound.
In this episode we dive into the collective’s use of looping on transitions and using FXs to build up to a drop. They also share some advice for aspiring DJs, and discuss their origins and the benefits of DJing as a group.
Winners of DJ Mag’s Best of British Breakthrough Award in 2022, Girls Don’t Sync have shown no signs of slowing down in the years since. From Ibiza dates, through UK tours, to Glastonbury headline slots, the group made up of Matty Chiabi, Sophia Violet, Hannah Lynch and G33 have recently turned their hand to production with a series of singles, releasing their latest track ‘Our House’ last month.
