========== Video Description ==========
Does stuffing the port on a speaker with foam or material reduce resonances and improve time domain performance? We find out in this video.
Note that in the video the measurement mic looks far too close and kind of at a weird angle. This is just the lens. I’m using a 50mm lens which is long enough to cause compression at these distances and the camera was not angled straight on so it looks a bit weird but the mic is positioned sensibly. Also, some people were moaning that the reference axis of the Kali speaker is the tweeter and so this time I pointed directly at the tweeter. With an omnidirectional measurement condenser at over 50cm distance, it makes barely any difference but at least the geeks will be happier now.
