The Lab LDN is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective’s weekly live stream, powered by Void Acoustics, where we showcase the finest DJs direct from our world famous office party. We’re kicking off our 2016 Lab LDN calendar in style this Friday with a Bugged Out Weekender takeover who’ve pulled in none other then Julio Bashmore.

Taking place from January 15 – 17, the 2016 edition sees the weekender celebrating its 5th Birthday and it’s set to be pure weekender gold with the likes of Armen Van Helden, Amé, Bicep, DJ Koze, Hannah Wants, Kerri Chandler, DJ EZ, Novalist and loads more all bringing the party.

To provide an insight into the musical gold on show Julio Bashmore will be stepping up to the plate this Friday from 4.30pm GMT. Its been 3 years since we last hosted the Bristolian and our October 2014 cover star in The Lab. Since then he’s released a number of on point EPs, launched his own label Broadwalk Records and released his debut album ‘Knocking Boots’, which came in at number 2 in our top albums of 2015.
