About Stacey Hotwaxx Hale:
The name “Hotwaxx” has been deeply embedded in Detroit’s dance scene in clubs ‘Cheeks’, ‘The Warehouse’, ‘Heaven’, ‘Studio 54’, ‘Grasshopper Underground’, ‘Populux’, ‘Menjo’s’, ‘Heaven’, ‘TV Bar’ and more since 1989. Her international presence includes performing in London, Ibiza, Berlin, Amsterdam.
Stacey Hale was a mainstay on the radio stations in the mid to late 80s, including WLBS, WHYT, WDRQ and WJLB, winning the Motor City Mix contest 10k prize. Stacey has been featured on numerous Internet radio shows and is currently featured on www.deepspaceradio.com
About Al Ester:
An unsung hero who’s been entertaining the locals for over 30 years. He’s remained a local fixture over the years while many of his counterparts moved on to larger opportunities abroad. He is also the man who took over Jeff Mills’ coveted Wednesday night DJ slot at Cheeks in 1983, and held the position for a little under a decade. His name is Al Ester, one of Detroit’s best-kept secrets, and he’s been there since 1977.
About Kevin Saunderson:
Platinum-selling recording artist, label boss, festival promoter, true innovator in the pantheon of popular music, cultural champion, cracking DJ: there’s a lot to be said about Kevin Saunderson.
His influence runs deep, through both adopted hometown of Detroit, and music culture as a whole: as one of the Belleville Three, the high school trio which also includes Juan Atkins and Derrick May, he irreparably changed the face of electronic music; with Inner City, he gave it some of its most memorable tunes.

About The Residency with Seth Troxler:
Over the course of the month, Detroit DJ and producer Seth Troxler will showcase a world renowned lineup of guests that are iconic legends who have shaped dance music history, combined with the next generation of talent, all who have influenced him over the years. Prior to each session, there will be introduction discussions where Seth Troxler and guests will go back to the history and roots of techno and house music, followed by DJ sets from pioneers and legends Tony Humphries, Ron Trent, Stacey Hotwaxx Hale, Paul Johnson, as well as rising artists, Channel Tres, DJ Holographic and many more.
Each week, prior to the DJ sets, Seth Troxler and his guests will have a discussion, reflecting on history, influences and important records that helped shape moments and movements. Post-discussion it’s a musical history lesson conducted by a diverse group of progenitors of the genre and newcomers who hail from the cultural hubs of Brooklyn, Chicago, Detroit and Los Angeles.
