Lovebox in The Lab with Kim Ann Foxman & Idjut Boys
Every week on MixmagTV we invite our favourite DJs to play the club in the corner of our office. On Friday July 11 we handeed control over to our good friends Lovebox to give us an insight into what we can expect when London’s biggest weekender returns this summer.
Formerly one fifth of NYC house collective Hercules And Love Affair, Kim Ann Foxman is now riding solo as a DJ and producer. Sought after for her soulful sets, Foxman has also been busy in the studio with releases ‘Return It’ and ‘Hypnotic Dance’ both out on Needwant Records. We also welcomed Dan Tyler and Conrad McDonell aka Idjut Boys into The Lab. They hooked up in the late 80s through a shared love of disco and more than 20 years and three record labels (U-Star, Noid and Droid) later, Idjut Boys are still killing dancefloors through their anything goes attitude which incorporates elements disco, electro, r&b, soul, house, techno, rock and pop.
