In this tutorial our instructor Boris shows you how to synthesize hihats using only Ableton’s native Operator synthesizer. We’re going to go over why synthesizing drums is so awesome, the basics of FM synthesis in Operator and the basic elements of a hihat. Then we’ll design the hihat from scratch using white noise.
