Mid Side EQ Simplified – A Powerful Tool for Stereo Mixing

In this video, I share a few ways to use Mid-Side EQ to improve your production and mixing. It is important to have a good understanding of Stereo EQ to get the most out of Mid-Side EQ but it can be used by anyone of any ability.

I find that it is a good tool to help me do less damage and be more precise when mixing but it is certainly not essential in most situations. It can be used to create width, depth and space in a mix. Many mixers use this to create a 3D, spatial sound stage.
