A Mixmag favourite – Mu540 with an eclectic set spanning everything from Brazilian funk to house. Pure block party style! – at the Valencia leg of the Burn Energy Tour 2025. Next stop on the tour – Bucharest, Romania.
With a mission of igniting the underground, the Burn Energy Tour 2025 will once again be putting a focus on fuelling local subcultures and platforming the artists and sounds that are transforming dance music.
Burn will be partnering with a local collective for each party for a community event to help showcase their drive and vision, while the run of high-octane parties across Europe’s hottest cities pairs internationally recognised headliners with burgeoning talent from the region.
The Valencia party was thrown at Marina Sur on September 26, headlined by Brazilian star Mu540 who brought house influence into his blend of baile funk, trap, drill and rap in a potent transatlantic fusion of sound.
Joining him on the bill was Mexico City’s underground reggaeton icon Rosa Pistola, the genre-busting sounds Venezuelan DJ Safety Trance (AKA Cardopusher), and Burn DJ Open contest winner Betty Bunny, who explores reggaeton, dancehall, dembow, hip hop and dance music styles in dynamic sets.
