In this video our instructor Boris goes through the techniques of applying velocity to hihat patterns by using the Randomization features of Ableton Live 11. Starting from basic random functions, through “committing” it and tweaking it yourself, all the way to applying “selective” randomization to special parts of your clip. Let’s get started!
