Complete with sweeping views of the city skyline and a feel-good mix of disco, house, and electronic grooves, this Mixmag Lab London captured the essence of summer in full swing. SG Lewis treated the crowd to a sneak peek of what’s to come, teasing new tracks that hinted at what’s on the horizon for SG later this year.
SG Lewis began his musical journey as a resident DJ for Chibuku in Liverpool, where first fell in love with electronic music, club culture, and mixing records—passions that still fuel every track he creates today. Now one of the most in-demand producers in the industry, he’s worked with legends like Elton John, Clairo, Khalid, Nile Rodgers, Victoria Monét, Shygirl, Raye, and Chad Hugo of The Neptunes/N.E.R.D. His debut album times and its follow-up AudioLust & HigherLove earned critical acclaim and helped push his streaming numbers past 2 billion. Behind the scenes, he’s produced Dave’s breakout track “100M’s” and co-written “Hallucinate” for Dua Lipa’s chart-topping, GRAMMY-nominated Future Nostalgia. His deep-rooted connection to club culture also inspired the launch of Forever Days, his club-focused imprint created to explore new creative ground beyond his solo project. The label has already featured collaborations with Chloe Caillet, DJ Seinfeld, and Loods, and has hosted day-to-night parties in London, New York, Ibiza, and Tulum.
