In this tutorial our instructor Boris shows you how to synthesize snares using only Ableton’s native Operator synthesizer. We’re going to go over why synthesizing drums is so awesome, the basics of FM synthesis in Operator and the basic elements of a snare. Then we’ll design the snare from scratch using white noise.
