The South African star is known for his fusion of afro-house and electronic, seamlessly blending sounds from these vast genres with elements of alternative pop and soul. He rose to international fame after his debut album ‘Africa To The World’ was certified gold by the Recording Industry of South Africa (RiSA).

For his hit track ‘Akanamali’ with Samthing Soweto, Into Ingawe with Ami Faku, and his ‘Africa to the World’ album, Sun-EL Musician has also been nominated for and won multiple SAMAs (South African Music Awards). With a whopping 31 tracks, Sun-EL Musician’s second album was released in December 2020. The album enjoyed considerable streaming success not just in South Africa but also internationally, receiving top ratings on all DSP and radio charts.

He is now also widely known for the work he puts in at his own label, El-World Music. El-World Music has a knack for seeking the best talent and harnessing new sounds. Throughout his career he has also worked with Black Coffee, Msaki, Simmy, Ami Faku and more. As a DJ, Sun-EL Musician knows how to get a party started and set the mood right for any music fan.
