УКРАЇНА потрапила в ТОП-10 сміттєвих країн світу:
Канада – 37 тонн на особу на рік;
Болгарія – 26,7 тонни;
США – 26 тонн;
Естонія – 23,5 тонни;
Фінляндія – 16,6 тонни;
Вірменія – 16,3 тонни;
Швеція – 16,2 тонни;
Люксембург – 11,8 тонн;
Україна – 10,6 тонни;
Сербія – 8,9 тонни.
Моя рідна Україна на 9 місці в рейтингу країн з найбільшим обсягом сміття на одного жителя! Тому я почала цікавитися цим питанням і дізнавшись цифри – жахнулася!
Через супутники на Київщині виявлено близько 80 звалищ, а їхня загальна площа становить близько 900 гектарів землі, а це – приблизно 1 260 футбольних полів!
Захоронення відходів на звалищах відбувається без дозвільних документів. На всю Україну працює лише один завод з переробки сміття.
І Україна вже знаходиться на порозі сміттєвого колапсу!
На одне з цих 80 звалищ – Вишгородський РКП “Комунальник” – я вирішила з’їздити і побачити все це на власні очі. Масштаби жахають – близько 20 гектарів сміття!
У мене виникло бажання розповісти вам про це, показати ці анти-пейзажі та масштаби екологічної проблеми, яка з кожним днем може перетворитися на екологічну катастрофу!

My native Ukraine is on the 9th place in the ranking of countries with the largest amount of garbage per person! So I became interested in this question and when I learned the numbers – I was horrified!
About 80 landfills have been discovered through satellites in Kyiv region, and their total area is about 900 hectares of land, which is about 1,260 football fields!
Waste disposal in landfills takes place without permits. There is only one waste recycling plant in Ukraine.
And Ukraine is already on the verge of a garbage collapse!
I decided to go to one of these 80 landfills – Vyshhorod RCP “Kommunalnyk” – and see it all with my own eyes. The scale is appalling – about 20 hectares of garbage!
I have a desire to tell you about it, to show these anti-landscapes and the scale of the environmental problem, which can turn into an ecological catastrophe every day!
